In this quilt, the design is set on the diagonal to create an interlaced basket-weave effect across the quilt top.

Tabby is traditionally pieced using rotary-cut pieces and is well suited to scrappy sewing. Mix colours and prints freely, work within a favourite colour palette or use coordinating precuts for a more planned finish. The repeated construction makes it an enjoyable project to sew a little at a time while gradually building the overall pattern.

Suitable a confident beginner quilter.

The patterns include

Instructions for 3 sizes - baby, throw, bed

Fabric requirements - see images for details

Clear cutting and piecing instructions

Scrap, stash and the quilt pattern is precut friendly

Traditionally machine-pieced construction

These are digital PDF patterns.
